Council Grove Lake ORV Area

Maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Council Grove Lake ORV offers 5 miles of multi use trails consisting mostly of hard pack. There are some steep hills, but riding is generally easy to moderate.




Kansas Badlands

Kansas Badlands offers 254 acres of ATV riding trails and tracks. There is a mud bog, fast track, hill and hole, and truck and tractor pull. Kansas Badlands has hosted multiple National Championship Races and many other activities. Check out their website for event schedule.




Perry Lake ATV and Motorcycle Trail

Perry Lake ATV and Motorcycle Trail offers 140 acres open to ATVs. Terrain runs from easy to difficult. Loading ramps are available.




Riverside ATV Park

Riverside ATV Park offers 157 acres accessible by dirt bikes and ATVs. Free to the public and inside the city limits, the trails are maintained by the Shawnee County Trail Riders Club.




School Creek ORV Area

Milford Lake

The School Creek OHV Area at Milford Lake is a US Army Corps of Engineers facility. There is approximately 287 acres of trails.




Syracuse Sand Dunes

Syracuse Sand Dunes Park offers 1,300 acres of riding area open to sandrails and ATVs. Showers, restrooms, camping, and RV electric hookups are available. There is also a 50 acre stocked fishing pond.




Tuttle Creek ORV Area
Spillway Cycle Area

Spillway Cycle Area adjoins the spillway just below Tuttle Creek Dam. The cycle area offers 35 acres of open and wooded terrain. There are several miles of trails ranging from novice-level paths to expert hill climbs. Tuttle Creek ORV area offers 310 acres open to all motorized and non-motorized vehicles. Miles of trails with steep climbs, sharp turns, and rugged terrain are offered here.




Venango Park ATV Trail

Kanapolis State Park

Venango Park ATV Trail crosses roughly 5 acres of land within the Kanapolis State Park. Camping, RV hookups, restrooms, and showers are available.
