Aroostook County ATV Trail

Aroostook Valley Trail is a 28 mile multiuse gravel surface trail. Most of this trail is very remote and riders should be prepared for a backcountry experience.

Coburn Mountain ATV Riders

Coburn Mountain ATV Riders maintains 65 miles of trail which are open to ATVs during the summer and snowmobiles during snow season. Camping is available and a number of accommodations offer direct trail access.

Down East Sunrise Trail


The Down East Sunrise Trail offers 85 miles of multi-use trail and is open for permanent year-round use. This multi-use scenic trail runs along the entire Downeast coastal area, connects multiple scenic conservation areas, intersects Downeast salmon rivers, and is very near two state scenic byways.

Four Seasons Adventure Trail

Four Seasons Adventure Trail is a 29 mile multiuse gravel surfaced trail. Beginning in the town of Newport, riders tour the countryside to experience views in two areas along the west side of Sebasticook Lake. The trail continues through the town of Dexter leading past the northeast side of Lake Wassookeag ending in the town of Dover-Foxcroft.

Houlton To Phair Junction ATV Trail

Southern Bangor and Aroostook Trail

Houlton to Phair ATV trail is an approximately 36 mile multiuse hard gravel trail. This trail is occasionally shared with logging trucks riders should be aware of other vehicles on the trail. There are several picnic areas and parking areas along the trail.

Jay to Farmington Trail

Whistle Stop Trail

The Jay to Farmington Trail is a 14.5 multiuse trail. Terrain consists of gravel and sandy soil. The trail offers views of rolling hills with a rural farmland flavor.

Kennebec Valley Trail

Kennebec Valley Trail is an 8 mile multiuse gravel sureface rail trail. This route includes this historic Arnold Trail on the Kennebec River.

Lagrange to Medford Trail

Legrange to Medford Trail is a 16 mile multiuse gravel surface trail. This trail travels through rural Maine with nice scenery of forests and farmland.

Mount Agamenticus

The Mount Agamenticus Recreation Trails is a 10,000 acre expanse of conservation land in souther Maine. These are multiuse trails, select trails are open to equestrians and ATV riders. Be certain to stay on ATV rated trails.

Rocky Mountain Terrain Park

Rocky Mountain Terrain Park offers 700 acres of riding area open to all forms of recreational vehicles, offering developed trails, rock crawls, and mud holes. Camping is available.

Sherman to Patten Trail

Sherman to Patten Trail is a 6 mile multi use gravel surface trail. This trail meanders through open fields, forested areas, and along the perimeter of Thousand Acre Bog.

St. John Valley Heritage Trail

Saint John Valley Trail is a 16.5 mile multiuse trail. The trail runs through the countryside to pexperience rolling hills, farmland, and several miles along the edge of the St. John River.

Summerhaven Use Area

Summerhaven Use Area is a 7 mile loop dirt trail. This trail consists of single and double track sections with several side trails. Picnic area is available.

Turner ATV Trails

Turner ATV Trails offers 15 miles of maintained forest trails. These trails are seasonal and are used by snowmobiles during snow season.
