Bearlodge Ranger District

Black Hills National Forest

Bearlodge Ranger District in the Black Hills National Forest is one of the entry points to this massive OHV system. There are 21 designated motorized trailheads in this forest, with over 600 miles of designated motorized trails. Trails and roads of varying difficulty and terrain span the forest. Camping is available.




Oahe Downstream OHV Area

Oahe Downstream OHV Area offers 400 acres of grassland hills open to ATVs. There are no designated trails, riding is permitted within marked boundaries. There is also a Motocross trail.




Revheim Bay OHV Area

Revheim Bay OHV Area offers a one mile long ATV track. This is mainly a day use park area with a small riding area. Picnic shelters and other recreational activities are available.




Talsmas Trail Park

Talsmas Ranch

Talsmas Trail Park offers several hundred acres of designated trails. Trails range from easy to extreme including hill climbs, creek crossings, river bluffs, deep brush, and river bottom terrain. There are several play areas and mud bogs. Restrooms and primitive camping are available.
